Bridal Veil spreads across a smooth rock face instead of falling as a narrow column. That thin, widening sheet of water gives the falls their name and sets them apart from the deep canyon plunges elsewhere in British Columbia.

The park lies east of Chilliwack and combines waterfall viewing with walking and picnicking. Stay within the official viewing area, particularly when spray, ice or wet ground make the approach slippery. Check the park’s seasonal notices before setting out.
Our take
A good stop for a slower Fraser Valley outing. The appeal is the texture and shape of the water rather than sheer volume.
