Planning your visit

Ontario Parks lists year-round viewing, although facility availability and surface conditions still change with the season. Use the boardwalk and established lookout areas. Check vehicle permits and opening information separately from camping reservations.

Our take

A rewarding stop on a Lake Superior journey, particularly for visitors who want substantial scenery without a long approach. Winter access should still be planned around ice and maintenance.
