Planning your visit

Parks Canada lists 700 metres return, roughly half an hour and 32 metres of elevation gain. Wear footwear suited to uneven and damp ground, and check the current trail report. Short distance is useful for planning time, but does not by itself establish wheelchair accessibility.

Our take

A practical addition to a Gros Morne itinerary when time or energy is limited. Leave room for a pause at the viewpoint rather than treating the published walking time as a deadline.
