Planning your visit

Alberta Parks places the turnoff 22 km west of Nordegg on Highway 11, followed by 6 km north on a gravel access road. Use the designated platforms and obey local barriers. The park also has a small campground, but camping availability needs a separate check.

Our take

An appealing choice for a Nordegg-area day trip. The drive and gravel approach should be included in your plan, especially after poor weather.
